Hello hello, it’s Dani here, your friendly Hoopla Accessibility co-ordinator!
Hoopla Malta is back with a bang for 2026, with new venues, new hotels, and even bigger parties! More fun = enhanced accessibility!
This year, we’ll be upscaling our accessibility efforts, with some exciting developments in the pipeline – stay tuned to find out more!
In the meantime, you can rest assured that we will be prioritising access at all our hotels and venues – all our sites will have step free access, and accessible bathroom facilities.
I will be producing a Hoopla Malta access guide over the coming few weeks, with more information added between now and September as details are confirmed. If you need to know anything before the access guide is ready, please email me on dani@mightyhoopla.com.
To get things started, here is some basic information:
PA/Carer tickets
Tickets work the same as our Brockwell Park event – free PA/carer tickets are available with evidence, such as an access/nimbus card, DWP letter etc. Please only book a ticket for yourself, you do not need to book a ticket for your PA/carer.
If you need a free PA/carer ticket, please forward me your booking confirmation email, along with a photo of your evidence.
Accessible Viewing Areas
These will vary across different venues, I will have more information once we have been on a site visit in April. Please email me on dani@mightyhoopla.com if you are interested in using an accessible viewing area.
Travel Around Malta
Malta is a small island and the easiest way to travel between venues is by private taxi. Bolt, Uber and other providers operate a quick and efficient service, with wheelchair accessible cabs available to book in advance.
All public busses are wheelchair accessible.
The terrain around Malta varies depending on the area – some parts are quite hilly, and pavement accessibility may be poor in older parts of the island
