Hello everyone!
It’s Dani here, the access co-ordinator for Mighty Hoopla 😊 I’m very happy to be in touch with some new updates about accessibility for 2026. We have changed some things from previous years, so some of it may be new to you, even if you’ve been at every Hoopla so far!
Have a read and let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you – my inbox is always open – dani@mightyhoopla.com
Best for now,
Dani x
Here are the key changes from 2025:
No need to pre-register for accessible toilets – you can now use them freely on site with no radar key needed. Accessible bathrooms by the Viewing Platforms will be managed by security staff.
Access lanes will now be present at each of the three event entrances. There will not be a separate accessible entrance.
A new Access Hub will be available on site to support all access-related needs during the event. We expect this to be located near the welfare tent, and sensory space.
Waiver forms are available if you need to bring medical items, or other items to support your needs, onto the site. Please click here to complete the form, and see below for more information. You do not need to email me if your query has been addressed by this form 😊
We have a detailed access guide which provides information about many aspects of the festival, including on site facilities, travel, and support.
Please click here to see the 2025 access guide: 2025 Access Guide.
Please note, some information will be different for the 2026 event. This will be updated as soon as it is confirmed.
If you would like help navigating the access guide, have any questions, or do not see the information you need, please contact dani@mightyhoopla.com
BOOKABLE FACILITIES
To ensure fair and safe allocation, the facilities listed in this section must be booked in advance. We would ask customers to provide evidence in support of their requirement, in order to use these facilities.
Accepted documentation includes:
Access or Nimbus card
Front page of a DWP letter
Doctor’s letter/prescription
Equivalent of the above from another country
Please let me know if you don’t have any of the above available, or have any other questions – we will always do our best to make it happen for you!

There are is not a separate ticket category for festival goers with access requirements. If you would like to attend with a PA/carer, you need to book a general admission ticket for yourself. You do not need to book a ticket for your PA/Carer. This will be added to your booking once you have completed the below steps:
How can I get a PA ticket?
1) Purchase your own ticket first.
2) Forward your booking confirmation email, along with a photo of your evidence document, to dani@mightyhoopla.com
The deadline for organizing a PA ticket is Friday 15th May 2026.
What is a PA ticket?
Attendees who need essential assistance are entitled to a free companion / Personal Assistant (PA) / carer ticket, subject to eligibility.
Mighty Hoopla does not sell specific “access tickets” for customers with access needs. All customers are required to purchase their own General Admission festival ticket.
When will I receive my PA ticket?
You will be sent your PA ticket within 48 hours of the event, however you will see it added to your booking profile on Kaboodle once it has been processed.
Am I eligible?
Proof of eligibility is required to provide you with your PA ticket. Accepted documentation includes:
Access or Nimbus card
Front page of a DWP letter
Doctor’s letter
Equivalent of the above from another country
Please email dani@mightyhoopla.com if you do not have these, or would like to ask any questions.
The deadline has passed, what do I do now?
The deadline for making access requests is two weeks before the show date.
If the deadline has passed but you still require a PA ticket, you will need to go to the box office on site with a physical copy of your eligibility document, where the Kaboodle Team can issue your PA ticket on the day. This is subject to capacity.
Remember, please do not buy a ticket for your PA/Carer.

Accessible Viewing platforms are available for customers who may need a separate, less crowded area to watch performances, with the option of seating. You will be able to bring a +1 with you on the platform, even if you do not have a PA/Carer.

In order to book a space on the accessible viewing platforms, please follow these steps:

We have created a simple form for you to register a need to bring items which are usually not allowed on site. This includes:
Prescription medication, including cannabis
Sunshade / parasol
Small, portable seating
Other medical equipment
A personal supply of external food and drink, for medical or access reasons
Submitting this form does not guarantee that permission to bring the item will be granted.
You must bring your physical prescription to the site, to be checked by gate staff. Without this, we cannot guarantee you will be able to bring your items on site.
Please submit this form at the earliest opportunity.
You can submit your request via this form.
If your query has been addressed by this form, you do not need to email me 😊
If you need to organize anything else, including re-entry to site, or if you have any questions, please email dani@mightyhoopla.com.
Non Bookable Facilities
The below facilities are available to all customers, without needing to book or arrange anything in advance. Please check the access guide in advance, or go to the Access Hub on site, for more information about any of these facilities.
If you have any questions, concerns or would like more information, please email dani@mightyhoopla.com.
-
Central on-site information point for access-related support, and general assistance on the day. This is where you will collect your PA/carer passes, as well as your viewing platform wristbands. These will need to be booked in advance, please see above for more information.

Accessible toilets are located throughout the site at every toilet block and Accessible Viewing Platform. They will be clearly signposted.
These toilets will be open access – you do not need a code or radar key to use these. We will display clear messaging advising customers about appropriate use of the accessible toilets.
Accessible toilets are located at each Viewing Platform, by the Welfare Tent and at each toilet block except the Main Stage, where the main accessible toilet is located at the accessible viewing platform.
-
Please bear with us whilst we confirm some exciting plans for enhanced accessibility for d/Deaf and hard of hearing guests.
-
This year, we will not have a separate accessible entrance. Instead, we will have dedicated access lanes at the North and South main gates, and the VIP gate. You are welcome to enter via the main lanes, or the access lanes.
Please bear in mind that entry may be quicker through the main lanes. Trained staff will be available to advise you of the quickest way to enter the site.
Please note, this is not a queue jump, and the lanes may become busy at peak times. We advise you to arrive as early as possible to ensure a smoother entry experience.
-
Registered assistance dogs are welcomed on site, with a dedicated spending area. We ask that your assistance dog wears a harness or tabard indicating their role, if they have one. Please note no other animals are allowed on site.
If an assistance dog behaves inappropriately on site, we reserve the right to ask the customer to leave the premises with their dog.
-
Charging points for powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters and other access related equipment are available on each Accessible Viewing Platform (AVP) and at the Access Hub.
-
If you need to store medicine in temperature-controlled conditions, you can store it in the fridge in the medical centre. Please go to the Welfare tent where someone will be able to assist you. If you require more information about storage conditions, please write to dani@mightyhoopla.com.
-
Hearing loop systems will be installed at the Access Hub, Access Lanes and at the Accessible Viewing Platforms.
-
A fully equipped Changing Places toilet is available on site, featuring an adult-sized changing bench, hoist, and adjustable wash basin. This will be located at the festival Access Hub.
-
All bars and traders serving food and drink will have large print menus. Please ask traders if you need one to order, they are ready to assist. If you need additional support ordering food and drink, please speak to staff at the access hub, who will be happy to assist you.
-
There are seven main bars at the event, each one will have a lowered counter.
Please note that some of our food vendors and bars may not have lowered counters. If you need support ordering food for any reason, please come to the access hub, where a member of staff will be able to assist you.
-
There will be a fully staffed welfare space, and separate sensory tent, available for all customers to use at any time. Please spend as long as you need in either space.
The welfare team can support you if you are experiencing difficulties, need support with intoxication, a medical issue, or if something has happened on site and you need someone to talk to.
The sensory tent is run by Bass Therapy, and is available for anyone needing a sensory controlled zone to decompress if you are feeling over/under stimulated. There will be areas with different stimulation levels, stim toys and gadgets available (including ear defenders), and a small shop where you can purchase your own stim gadgets to take away with you.
